Andrew was a Veteran of the Civil War, and was a wagon and barrel maker. Emeline was a housewife and raised the children. Andrew and Emeline lived in Scotland, Illinois and Dana, Indiana. Andrew was born 2-6-1828 in Highland Co. Ohio, to Peter & Nancy Collins, & Emeline was born 9-25-1838 in Illinois, to Thomas and Mary Thornton. Andrew & Emeline raised a family of 7 children. Andrew and Emeline were married May 15, 1856, in Edgar Co., Illinois.

     Andrew died at the age of 61, and Emeline died at the age of 54. Both Andrew and Emeline are buried at the Wesley Cemetery in Scotland, Illinois. If you would like more information on Andrew and Emeline Please let us know.
